I am not involved in the Senzo Meyiwa case - Sibiya Zandile.Khumalo Tue, 10/14/2025 - 16:00 CAPE TOWN - Suspended Deputy National Commissioner for Crime Detection, Shadrack Sibiya, denies any involvement in the investigation into the murder of football star Senzo Meyiwa.Appearing before Parliament’s SAPS Ad Hoc Committee on Tuesday, Sibiya addressed allegations that he had interfered with the case.MPs continue to press him for answers on alleged corruption and interference in the criminal justice system.“At what point would I have done that? I want to say to South Africans that I am not involved in the Senzo Meyiwa case, nor have I done anything wrong. There have been many teams, more than 10, that have investigated this case. I have done nothing to make this case unsuccessful,” Sibiya testified.Earlier, Sibiya raised concerns about answering questions from uMkhonto weSizwe (MKP) MP David Skosana this given that he had opened a criminal complaint against him. Sibiya says information in Skosana s criminal complaint against him was included in a search warrant.Police raided the commissioner s house last week, seizing electronic devices.
